Taipei Scooter Style Video 15: Bei Yi Highway

I rode up the Bei Yi Highway from Xindian to Pinglin on a recent Sunday. My aim was to demonstrate why this road is so popular with scooterists and other two-wheelerists. I was also hoping to show the photographers who have taken to setting up on corners and snapping scooters and motorcycles as they power along the twisty highway. It was a bit late in the day to find too many of them, but I was not disappointed.

For a taste of inexplicable Taiwan, enjoy the giant bunnies, scooter-riding cats, rock-wielding photo-mama, giant tea pots, and illegally-passing Wish drivers.
