Nanjing East and West Road

The GoPro has been fun to use, but I've been itching to get back out with the still camera. The weather cooperated today, so I made it out in the late afternoon for the golden light.

I chose Nanjing Road at the intersection of Zhongshan N. Road as the target of my attention. The Zhongshan MRT Station and the Mitsukoshi Department Stores are on Nanjing, and the Regent Hotel with its remora-like luxury brand stores are on Zhongshan. There are small alleys back in behind the former U.S. consulate building, now the SPOT Taipei Film House, with lots of funky shops. And lots of scooters.

I'll let the images speak for themselves. This will be part 1 of the images captured today. Look for further posts with more in the coming days. And yes, I had the GoPro, too. I'll be putting something together with that footage soon enough. Expect to see a video of Yenping North Road, scooter shop central, and portions of an evening jaunt through the Zhongshan and Daan districts.
