Two-wheel Balancing Act

A friend shared the link to the image below.  It shows her father securing a load on his motorcycle. This should give you some idea of how people in Taiwan treat their motorcycles as cargo haulers.  Thanks, Yufen.

Taipei Overload

Personally, I've carried long pieces of lumber once or twice, but I regularly haul my percussion toys to band practice and gigs. Another friend claims to transport his stand up bass to his own jazz performances. On a scooter, cargo is most likely carried on the foot platform. Many motorcycles have racks on the back for carrying larger loads. One of the most common objects carried on such racks are bottles of liquid gas for cooking.
